I love the Butcher Box concept, but they’re only offering $129/month memberships. They say it’s enough for 15 to 20 meals. I can’t imagine many families consuming that much beef in one month. If it were varied and also included other meat products (chicken, etc.), maybe it’d make sense for larger families.
As a single woman, though, how are you using your beef each month? It seems like a hefty amount of beef consumption to justify the fee and such a large order.
For a family of four, the box would be an ideal size for, at my best estimate, 5 family meals. I think a couple could easily get through it in a month or month and a half. It’s a lot for one person, but it lasts a long time in the freezer.
I have read in several of your posts and heard on your Youtube videos / interviews that a new mattress caused you very sick. I would really like to know, what symptoms you had after sleeping on a new mattress?. I think it would be more meaningful to other readers and motivating if we had a better idea of what exactly happened to your health after sleeping on a toxic mattress.
Lauren – since I can’t leave a comment on the “7 secrets that cured my acne without chemicals” article I wanted to leave you one here. I wanted to thank you because I think you SAVED my skin. It was so, so irritated and full of acne after discontinuing birth control pills and trying to clear it up using harsh cleansers and “moisturizers.” For only about a week I’ve been doing the raw honey cleansing in morning, grapeseed oil cleansing at night, toner (ACV + witch hazel + filtered water) and coconut oil moisturizer day and night. The spot treatment also works wonders!! Just an occasional bump here and there, and my skin feels so happy, I know it will just keep getting better and better. THANK YOU!!!
