The term “sugar addiction” became popular after a study showed rats preferred sugar-laced water over intravenous cocaine (1).
Does this mean sugar is more addictive than drugs?
Is this why so many people struggle with addictive patterns around food?
Does this mean we must eliminate sugar completely or be “hooked” on it?
No, no, and no.
In today’s video, I explain how to have a healthy relationship with sugar.
You’ll be able to enjoy treats with effortless moderation, without feeling “hooked” or addicted to sugar.
(You may not think this is possible for you… it is.)
That means you don’t have to exert any willpower to eat in a balanced way.

In health,
Lovely video with great information.
This is fantastic. I have always had a problem with sugar. Quit 100% a few times but got ‘hooked’ again. One thing I noticed recently though is that when I have a creative project on the go, I have WAT less tendency to wander to the kitchen looking for ‘something’ lol. Many times I walk right by the kitchen, just too busy to bother with food or snacks. It’s great!
I love that you shared that eye-opening study! Thank-you!
BTW, I have been coming back to your site for years – great content!
oops – I meant to say “WAY less”
