Dear Pharma’s current girlfriend,
I heard you’re dating Pharma now, and things are getting serious. It sounds like you’re ready to commit yourself to his endless stream of experimental-gene-therapy jabs and booster shots, putting the future of your immune system on his subscription basis.
I’m sure he’s had some choice words to say about me, because when I was with him, he said the same thing about his ex-girlfriends. They were all crazy and selfish. He worked so hard to make them strong and healthy, but then they turned on him and started spreading misinformation about him. Poor, poor him.
He probably told you he’s the victim here, and dangerous women like me are trying to harm his career and reputation. That doesn’t only hurt him, it hurts all the people he helps every year.
Did he also say that I’m just a vindictive Pharma-hating bitch? I heard that one, too. Or that I’m just trying to exploit sick people and “sell my natural lifestyle.” Oh boy.
Anyway, I hope you’ll just hear me out. If I had listened to his crazy exes early in our own relationship, I would have saved myself so much heartache, distress, and trouble.
I’m asking you to trust your discernment enough to listen directly to me — go to the original source, so to speak — instead of listening to his interpretation of me.
I broke up with Pharma 10 years ago and honestly, it was one of the most difficult and important decisions of my life. It changed everything for me, and I mean everything.
I was in a relationship with Pharma for 18 years. 18! It wasn’t just a casual fling, I was committed. I thought he was my future, and that I literally wouldn’t be able to live without him.
I believed him when he said he loved me, and just wanted to make me healthy and happy. I thought I needed him, and everyone around me told me I needed him, too… even my parents, therapist, and doctors!
That is the sign of an expert psychopath: they are so suave, charming, and convincing that even your parents and therapist are duped. Pharma is a psychopath.
Wait, hold on! I know that makes you want to rip up this letter. If someone had said that to me when I was dating him, I would have said, “That’s not true! He has a good heart. He’s hurt a few people, here and there, but that was just an accident.”
Please, just keep reading.
My relationship with Pharma lasted so long because I kept believing what he told me, instead of actually looking at his pattern of behavior. He said he wanted me healthy, but he kept making me sicker.
For example, he gave me chemical-laden vaccines when I was an infant. And then he gave me antidepressants and acid blockers when I was a pre-teen. Only years later would I learn how these toxic chemicals can create systemic imbalances in the body which can contribute to the development of chronic disease.
He said he saved my life, but he actually played a key role in me developing a life-threatening autoimmune illness.
I didn’t know it at the time, but I had a case of Stockholm Syndrome. I was in love with my abuser. I didn’t recognize that he was the one who trapped me in a state of disease, and instead I believed he was offering me a chance at health.
I know this is completely different than his version of the story. I’m sure he’s told you that vaccines were responsible for erasing dangerous infectious diseases. I’m sure he’s given you the “they’re safe and effective” line about drugs like statins and antidepressants, as well.
I’m going to say something that sounds crazy… as crazy as it sounded in Copernicus’ day that the earth revolves around the sun, instead of the other way. Statins and antidepressants, well as the other commonly prescribed drugs, are pseudoscience (1, 2, 3)!
That means their efficacy is disproven by the majority of scientific data. The data supporting these products is weak and financially biased, and the long-term risks of the products outweigh the perceived benefits.
Like you, I believe him when he told me his products were all “evidence-based.” He made it sound that everyone who didn’t believe that stuff was a “crazy conspiracy theorist.” I didn’t realize how many doctors, scientists, researchers, and statisticians have proven his story wrong, over and over.
Pharma’s probably told you that you shouldn’t take advice from anyone who isn’t a “real doctor” right? Well that’s another thing psychopaths do. They keep you away from professionals who would help you identify their abusive, manipulative behavior.
So… you can go to a therapist, but only one Pharma approves of. You can go do a doctor, but not someone who uses “pseudoscientific” methods like lifestyle and nutrition interventions instead of drugs.
Sound familiar?
You might be thinking, “If Pharma is lying, then why do so many smart, well-intentioned people work for him?” Great question.
First of all he sleeps with, like, everyone. Seriously, he’s in bed with more people than you can count: doctors, lawyers, politicians, lobbyists, med school faculty, scientists, and Pharma reps (4).
Secondly, you see how convincing he is. The well-intentioned people who work for Pharma are under his spell. They don’t know he is lying, because they are somewhat disconnected from their intuitive compass.
This sounds harsh, but it’s true. I wasn’t in touch with my inner compass when I was with Pharma. He intentionally gives people medication that numbs them, dampening the volume on the dial of their intuition. Well-intentioned people divorced from their intuition make the best pawns for his psychopathic agenda.
Oh, I’m sure he lured you in with his lines about being some kind of feminist, anti-racist, Mother-Theresa-Type right? Again, I fell for that until I looked at his pattern of behavior instead of simply believing his empty words.
For example, he’s trying to get every teenage girl on toxic hormonal birth control, and he says that’s feminist! By the time they’re 30 and want to have a kid, they haven’t had a natural hormonal cycle for 15 years.
So then, Pharma offers them more synthetic hormones to induce ovulation, or force conception, in a process that requires even more synthetic hormones. It’s the opposite of feminism to poison women’s bodies with chemicals, instead of helping them understand the cycles of their wise bodies (5, 6).
I’m sure he told you he’s an anti-racist, right? Yet he is the epitome of white supremacy. He believes that all cultures that take a spiritual or energetic approach to health are pseudoscience (7). This includes the oldest forms of healing, such as Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and Native American medicine. And are you familiar with his history of medical experimentation and medical sterilization on black and brown folks (8)?
He’s also promoting medical racism by insisting that everyone, including people of color, get experimental-gene-therapy-nanotechnology-chemical-injection-shot to go to restaurants or grocery stores.
The most important thing for you to know is that you’re dating someone who has sold his soul. I mean that literally, in the sign your name on the dotted line kind of way.
He told me that I was stupid for believing in a higher power — the divine forces of Love and the dark forces of Evil. He says that he’s an atheist, and claims to deny the existence of the soul.
The truth is, he knows there is a deeper spiritual foundation to reality. He knows this is the most powerful dimension. He’s trying to hide that deeper reality that from you, so you are powerless.
He works in that dimension in order to exert the most control over you. He’s trying to control not just your money and body, but also your mind, your soul, and your life force.
You might be wondering, “If this is true, that Pharma is a dangerous psychopath, why haven’t I heard it from others?”
There are countless “crazy ex girlfriends” who try to speak up. Unfortunately, Pharma tends to blackmail his exes. He threatens to get their social media accounts deactivated, or fired from their jobs, blacklist them from scientific journals, or revoke their medical credentials.
He’s been known to go on literal killing sprees against whistleblowers and people who offer natural healing.
It’s a total shitshow, and many people don’t know this is happening behind the scenes.
What I’m trying to tell you is that your entire relationship with Pharma is a lie. The entire thing.
He doesn’t love you, he’s just using you. He doesn’t want you healthy — he is actually silencing, censoring, and literally murdering the people who have the actual solutions to make you healthy.
This was a painful realization that shook me to my core. Like I said, I thought I couldn’t live without him. But by ending the relationship, I learned to trust myself and my body. I took back my power.
I didn’t know what healing was, until Pharma taught me what healing was not.
Now, I have health beyond my wildest imagination. Breaking up from Pharma allowed me to flourish, not just in my physical health, but also in my emotional, mental, financial, and spiritual health.
I want that for YOU.
After reading this, you might still view me through Pharma’s lens, and think that I’m selfish, greedy, vindictive, lying, or crazy.
That’s okay with me.
I will still keep fighting for your freedom.
Love,
Lauren Geertsen
a.k.a Pharma’s Crazy Ex Girlfriend
This is everything I want to say and more. Thank you for speaking out!!
If we would concentrate on FARM instead of PHARM we wouldbe in a much better place!
Lauren I applaud you for your courage and candor in sharing this letter and the TRUTH! I agree with you wholeheartedly and left a lucrative career in Pharma for those very reasons. You have helped me with my acne through a more holistic approach rather than taking anymore cycles of the toxic Accutane.
Kudos to you and I’m glad to have found you 4 years ago!
Bravo Lauren!!!
Well done! So very proud of you!❤️🙏
Thank you Lauren for sharing your journey of health and healing and encouraging women to understand their bodies. This is so creative. If you ever expand it you could take the relationship back to the 1930s when Pharma started taking over hospitals in this country and doctors started writing scripts for answers to all ailments instead of using good old fashioned common sense and tried-and-true herbal remedies.
You are so creative! I love reading all your work!!!! I’m so grateful I receive your email newsletters. Reading this today, cheered me up so much! Thank you, xoxo
You are absolutely right and have worded everything perfectly. I am going to send this to many others including family and friends.
Bless you Lauren! You are so right about Big Pharma (not to mention Big Farming!). I wish more people would wake up. I’m 68 and am not on any medication. I exercise daily, get my Vitamin D and do time restricted eating (Intermittent Fasting). It’s a beautiful lifestyle and I’m healthier now than I was in my 40’s. God bless you and all you do.
Karen
Excellent letter, Lauren! I enjoyed it. Absolutely right on spot. Thank you!
Lauren, thank you for speaking the truth and not backing down. Cheering you on!!
Amen to all of the above Lauren very much appreciated ♥️
