Win Probiotic and Enzyme Supplements valued at over $175
I’m excited to giveaway a gut-healing supplement package from Organic 3! Organic 3 offers painstakingly formulated, powerhouse supplements for digestive health. Supplements are not created equal, and I am very selective in what supplements I personally take and what supplements I recommend. I am absolutely blown away by the dedication and quality behind Organic 3 products.
Organic 3 supplements are compatible with healing diets like the SCD and GAPS diet and use only Kosher vegetarian capsules. Additionally, the probiotics are routinely tested and have a guaranteed potency.
Organic 3 supplements include:
1. The GUTPro Probiotic is a high potency probiotic carefully designed to be free of irritating additives and contains absolutely no fillers. Additionally, this probiotic is free of certain bacterial strains like l-acidophilus and streptococcus strains. In some cases, these bacterial strains can cause digestive distress for sensitive individuals.
Kitsa Yannoitis, a certified GAPS practitioner in Sydney, gives a glowing review of this probiotic and explains,
“As a practitioner I have tried many probiotic supplements with my clients over the years but was always concerned about additives and fillers as well as the streptococcus and acidophilus strains which never seemed to agree with my more sensitive ASD/GAPS clients… [GUTPro ™] is the most cost effective probiotic I’ve been able to find. Many happy clients later I can highly recommend it!”
Why a probiotic without l-acidophilus?
Heather at The Mommypotamus explored how l-acidophilus may exacerbate autism and contribute to fatigue. While l-acidophilus is not harmful to everyone, some individuals will benefit from changing from l-acidophilus to a probiotic without it. The main idea is that l-acidophilus can lead to d-lactic acidosis:
D-lactic acidosis (or a sub-clinical form of the same) occurs when the body is unable to rid itself of D-lactic acid. Diet – especially a diet rich in carbs if an individual cannot digest them well – is the main factor behind acidosis… D-lactate buildup causes cellular metabolism of glucose to switch from an aerobic (oxygen-rich) process to an anaerobic (oxygen-deprived) process. In this oxygen-starved environment cells are unable to produce adequate amounts of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). SOURCE.
2. The GUTZyme HCL and Enzyme Supplement™ has also been formulated to suit highly sensitive individuals. It contains a blend of starch, protein and fat digesting enzymes as well as HCL (hydrochloric acid–the acid produced in one’s stomach) to support digestion. Organic 3 carefully adjusted the amount of enzymes in this supplement, striking a balance that aids digestion but is not likely to irritate an inflamed GI tract, like some enzyme supplements may do.
3. Yeastbiotic, a supplement with Saccharomyces boulardii, can help combat pathogenic strains of GI microorganisms such as C. dificile, toxigenic E. coli, and Candida. Additionally, this probiotic strain is hardy and can help protect the gut while undergoing antibiotic treatment:
Yeastbiotic™ is naturally resistant to all antibacterial antibiotics and can be taken along with antibacterial antibiotics without adversely affecting its potency and efficacy.
Saccharomyces boulardii has been found helpful in supporting the immune system, combatting diarrhea, and supporting healthy intestinal function in cases of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

These sound amazing! I’ve been wanting to get digestive enzymes and probiotics but they’re hard to afford on a college student budget! Especially when already trying to eat healthy. I’m also trying to heal digestive issues and GERD, so I’ve found your blog really helpful.
Thanks for bringing my attention to this company, I hadn’t heard of them yet 🙂
Thank you for the contest. I love your blog!
This is a great giveaway! Have you noticed a definite difference taking this probiotic? And, how long does a bottle last you? Thanks.
We are a GAPS-modified family and I JUST bought these prob’s in hopes that my daughter with PANDAS can handle them and not react. We all are taking it. These are the cleanest Prob’s I have EVER seen! I am excited about them and REALLLLLLY excited about this give-a-way! I NEVER enter these things 😉 BUT for something like this, of this quality, ABSOLUTELY! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! And thanks for all you do! Recipes are amazing! 🙂
Lauren,
I know you are soo busy, but I had a couple of questions. I so appreciate all of your informative posts and hearing about your healing journey. It has helped as I continue on my own health journey. I have been researching some products that you have mentioned on your blog. Can you better explain the difference between Vitamin U and the GUTzyme. I am trying to work within my budget and determine which product would work best for my issues. I have seen many doctors and had tests over several years with only an IBS diagnosis. So I am doing some reading to determine my potential issue and trying to diagnose and heal myself. That said, I only occasionally have heartburn and rarely a burning near the stomach. But I thought healing the stomach lining may be a good place to begin and then work from there. Understanding you are very busy, if possible I would love to have a response regarding the difference between these products or if you might recommend them to be used together? (Still trying to decide how many things to do together and where to begin.)
I do so appreciate all of your information. Thank you!
