Herb Green Pea Hummus

Serves: About 2 cups
A bean-free hummus alternative made with green peas and cilantro. The perfect complement to fresh seasonal veggies or your holiday crudité platter.
  • 2 cups frozen green peas, thawed
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Optional toppings: toasted pine nuts, toasted hemp seeds, olive oil, pomegranate seeds
  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed food processor.
  2. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula as you go.
  3. Scoop into a bowl and top with toasted pine nuts, hemp seeds and/or pomegranate seeds, if desired.
