2 days agoby lauren_geertsenI went into the salon, showed my Pinterest hair board to the stylist and said, “cut it off!” Every time I have a major life change I’m compelled to cut my hair shorter. If life keeps changing I’ll have to move to the undercut or neck shave... Also, it’s bisexual visibility day so I’m being visible here, and cheering on the visibility of my bi friends here!

In actuality, self-care is the work of discovering who we truly are and taking the steps to share our unique gifts in the world. Can face masks and bubble baths help that process? I don’t think so.
